Senegalese forward Demba Ba returned to Turkey as he officially joined Instanbul Basaksehir from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
Demba Ba played in the Turkish Super Lig with Goztepe in 2018 and Besiktas in 2014. Now the former Premier League player will be playing for Istanbul Basaksehir, who are currently leading the Turkish Super League eight points clear of Galatasaray with 16 matches left in the Super Lig season.
The former Chelsea player will play alongside veteran stars Robinho, Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Adbayor, Arda Turan and Gokhan Inler.
Last season Demba Ba played 17 games in the Chinese Super League scoring five goals and produced two assists. He also made 13 appearances in the Turkish Super League with Goztepe scoring seven goals and producing one assist.
