At one point yesterday it seemed like Senegalese Issa Sarr was club searching after parting ways with his former employers Orlando Pirates but barely hours late Sarr had resurfaced in style signing for Ajax Cape Town in a 2-year deal.

Earlier in the day Orlando Pirates had confirmed that  midfielder Issa Sarr had left the club following months of uncertainty over his future.

Following four wonderful seasons midfielder Issa  Sarr has left Orlando Pirates”a club statement said

Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for Sarr during his stay at the club.This is a player who -at all times displayed high levels of professionalism and discipline”Bucaneers wrote in their statement.

Even though there was an  offer for Sarr in Qatar he opted for Ajax to try and get back his mojo and playing time in a move that was well calculated.

Orlando Pirates signed Sarr from Platinum Stars in May 2014,He was an integral part of the team that won the MTN8 and Telkom knockout trophies in 2013/14 season

He joined Dikwena at the beginning of the 2013/14 season signing from Chippa United.
