Amajita Coach Thabo Senong has related their semifinal meeting with the Young Chipolopolo to the David, Goliath clash.

Speaking during the post match press conference–Amajita’s 3-1 win over Sudan, Senong said his team is like David when he booked a fight with Goliath, who are Zambia in this scenario.

The Amajita coach was responding to a question regarding what he thinks about their next semifinal opponents Zambia, who had an edge in their previous two encounters.

“We’ve been underdogs in this tournament, no one gave us a chance. Against Zambia, it’s like a David vs Goliath clash and we are the underdogs.

“When you are playing in your comfort zone you relax. But when you are playing out of your comfort zone you have the pressure to deliver”, explained Senong.

Amajita face off with a Zambia U-20 set up that had an edge in their previous two meetings, in 2016 Cosafa Cup final and in a friendly game played at Nkoloma Stadium most recently.
