Fasil Kenema goalkeeper Yohannes Shekuir is hoping to make a comeback for his side after missing some of Ethiopia Premier League matches  due to an injury.

In an interview with Soka25east,Shekuir revealed he is ready to make a comeback in March after healing from the injury.

“I got injured but I have been treated and my doctor said I will be back after a month.It was a career threatening but now am feeling better.I miss my fellow players and fans,” he said.

Sheikur comeback will be a major boost to Fasil Kanema as the young talented player has been one of the best goalkeepers in the league having conceeded only four goals.

“I am coming back stronger to fight for my team as i work hard to earn a place in national team.

“I have made clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in the league.My main focus is to train hard and attain the status,”Shekuir added.

Now though,he is likely to return swiftly,and that would be welcomed by supporters,who have been looking for his return to help Fasil Kenema to contend for the title.
