Kidus Giorgis’ quest to break two-match winless streak take them south of Ethiopia in Yirgalem to face Sidama Bunna in week 6 of the Ethiopian Premier.
The Coach Martin Noolj’s charges fell 2-1 to Fasil Kenema before settling for a barren draw at home in Addis Ababa against Adama City last week.
They are placed top of the table standings with 10 points – one ahead of Sidama who could topple them with a win on Sunday.
Sidama lost 2-1 away to Ethiopian Bunna in week 5 but have picked three vital wins at home this season and are known to be stubborn against the defending champions.
Kidus Giorgis will be without long serving Ugandan center back Isaac Isinde who left the club after five years of service. The “horsemen” did not renew the contract of the AFCON 2017 bound former Simba SC stopper.
In another big match of the weekend, Ethiopian Bunna who last week picked their first three points of the season travel to Sodo to face Wolita Dicha in a tough encounter.
Sodo is one of the toughest hunting grounds in the topflight and the visitors will be have to dig deep to pick points from there.
