Sierra Leoane Football Association has suspended the national team coach John Keister for “gross misconduct.”

The 46-year-old is accused of calling the SLFA madam boss Isha Johansen “corrupt” in a leaked audio conversion involving him, the Leone Stars goalkeeper trainer Tamba Moses and Logistics officer Alusine Kabba.

Moses and Kabba have been banned indefinitely.

“These officials were found guilty of gross misconduct by bringing the name of the institution into disrepute,” the SLFA said in a statement.

Prior to the ban, Kaister, who doubles up as the coach of Isha Johansen FC coach, apologized for the damning leak.

Kesiter, a former international, was appointed Leone Stars manager in May this year to replace Ghanaian Sellas Tetteh.

His first outing was a 2-1 win against Kenya in the 2019 AFCON qualifying match in Freetown in June.
