Chipolopolo defender Simon Silwimba has urged fans to turn out in numbers and support the team on Saturday when they host Botswana in the CHAN 2020 second leg qualifier.
In an interview with Fazambia.com, Silwimba said the team was focussed on winning Saturday’s game and qualify to the final round where either eSwatini or Angola await.
“Everything is okay we have very high chances of winning on Saturday. Those that watched the game on Saturday would have seen that we created a lot of chances so we should be able to win at home,” said the Zesco United defender.
“We just have to win this game, we are training hard and focussed on winning.”
He added: “Supporters should come in numbers and not lose hope.”
Zambia and Botswana drew 0-0 in the first leg played in Francistown on Friday.
Winner over two legs will qualify to the final qualifying round of the Cameroon 2020 CHAN tournament.
