Dar es salaam giants Simba are desperate to acquire the services of Zesco United’s star striker and Kenyan international Jesse Jackson Were.
Billionare and Simba owner Mohammed Dewji has hinted at securing the signatures of the striker who scored 18 goals in the just concluded Zambian Super league.
Zesco won the ZSL and will represent the Country in the CAF Champions league .
Simba who have been keen on Nkana striker Walter Bwalya is reported to have stopped pursuing the controversial player and instead focused on securing the services of the Kenyan international
It is believed that Dewji who bought 49% of the shares at Simba has said he will but the player whatever the price with Zesco insisting the player has renewed his contract .
Zesco has other two kenyan internationals in David Odhiambo and Antony Akumu
