Tanzania top side Simba Sports club are believed to be in talks with Kenyan side AFC Leopards for a possible move of Ugandan born defender Ramadan Yakubu.

This was after the defender put up a decent performance in Monday’s build up match in Tanzania in which Simba marked it’s anniversary as well as unveiling it’s new signings.

Despite the Kenyan side losing 4-0 on the evening, Simba scouts identified Ramadan and after the match they contacted them.

“We are interested in shirt 5.” Simba scout said.

If this is to happen, it will have to be in December as the Tanzanian transfers closed.

The former Sports club Victoria University and Bright Stars defender has been in sharp form ever since he joined “Ingwe” and if all goes well he will join fellow Ugandans in defender Jjuko Murushid and Assistant Coach Jackson Mayanja at the club.
