Tanzanian Giants Simba SC have come out victorious in a CAF Champions League match against Al Merrikh at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Simba were looking to collect maximum points playing at home.
The home side took the lead 18 minutes into the match through the sensational Luis Miquissone.
Mohamed Hussein doubled the lead for Simba with 7 minutes left to play in the first stanza.
Simba SC went into the break leading 2-0.
Upon the restart, Mugalu Chris scored a third to wrap up a one sided score match.
Al Merrikh offered no answer as Simba ran out victorious in Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzanian Champions are now on 10 points in Group A three ahead of Al Ahly who have 7 points after a win against Vita Club.
