Tanzanian giants Simba Sports Club have completed a deal for right fullback David Kameta from Lipuli FC.
The club announced that, “David Kameta ‘Duchu’ will wear the red and white jersy next season having joined the champions squad on a three-year contract.”
Duchu as he is nicknamed has exhibited a high standard performance in the Vodacom Mainland Premier League that ended last month despite Lipuli FC being relegated.
Duchu is among the three youthful right backs who had an outstanding performance last season.
The defence has been one of the key areas which Simba were looking to be strength ahead of next season.
He joins new signings at the club among others, Joash Onyango, Bernard Morrison and Charles Martin llamfia as Wekundu wa Msimbazi targets glory in the Caf Champions League as well as retaining the Vodacom Mainland Tanzanian Premier League.
