Simba Sports Club missed on a chance to go top of the Vodacom Tanzania premier League today when they were silenced at home by visiting Mwanza based side Toto Africans who beat them by a solitary goal.
Waziri Juma’s first half goal was the difference at the National Stadium in Dar es Salam.
The match saw Simba coach Jackson Mayanja sent off from as well as defender Hassan Kessy who was shown a straight red card.
Simba who lost a week ago to Coastal Union in the Federation Cup needed to beat Toto Africans to have a realistic chance of winning the league.

Young Africans lead the 16 team league with 59 points after playing 24 matches with Simba second with 57 points with a match more. Money bags Azam are third with 55 points from 24 matches.
Coastal Union still remain bottom despite the win with 22 points from 27 matches.
Toto Africans win over Simba pushes them to 11th position on 30 points same as Mbeya City but with an inferior goal difference.
The league matches resume on Wednesday with Azam taking to the pitch to meet Majimaji as Yanga entertain Mgambo JKT.
