Ndola City ,Copper belt Province  in Zambia

Zambian new entrants in the Super league Buildcon FC has sent shivers and shock waves to perennial contenders like Zesco,   Zanaco and Power Dynamos when they  announced high profile signings with big players joining the Ndola based club.

The club which was known as AM Welding and later bought by Millionaire Mubanga has signed high profile players and hence shifted base to the copper belt headquarters of Ndola where giant club Zesco sits.

Soka25east reporter Austin Oduor on a tour of the club caught up with the 24 year old  Kenyan International midfielder Clifton Miheso Ayisi  at both the training ground and the hotel.

Miheso has featured for the national soccer team Harambee stars 28 times scoring five goals .He has had stints with KPL side Thika United just after starring in the national secondary ball games with with soccer  school giants  Kakamega High School,Sofapaka,AFC Leopards and Finish side VPS.

He also had a very successful outing with PSL side Golden Arrows  but later fell out with the club  after he was  forced to terminate his contract at Arrows at gunpoint in January  .South African Football Players Union threw their support behind Miheso, and protested outside SAFA House during a visit from FIFA president Gianni Infantino last month.

With all that said we look at a very disciplined player with a lot of intergrity, down to earth and humble.

I call the player and he invites me for a morning breakfast tea at the Savoy Hotel where he is housed by Buildcon FC  and the interview begins

.With Miheso at the Hotel

Soka25east  – How are you Mr Clifton? nice  meeting you

Miheso–   We can .  no problem

He leaves for the training ground at the Levi Mwanawasa stadium in  the company of a Malian dreaded defender who  reveals his identity as Traore .They leave for the team bus  then  to the stadium and I  follow them  after an hour  .

Miheso training at the Levi Mwanawasa training ground in Ndola with his team

At the stadium I find Miheso in full Buildcon FC  regalia training under Spanish Coach Hicham Jadrane Chazouani .

The training lasts for two hours in a drizzling cold Ndola weather and the team breaks .I follow him to the hotel and invites me to his room where the interview continues .
