SoNy Sugar FC has completed the signing of Nzoia United duo of Valen Semi Mahero and Maxwell Sikolia ahead of the 2016 season.
After the departure of the leading striker Edwin Oduor soNy were looking to replace the former talisman and Nzoia United striker Valen Semi Mahero was the possible candidate for the position after the impressive season for Nzoia last year.
SoNy have now agreement terms with the both striker ,defender Maxwell Sikolia and parent club Nzoia United to fill the gap left with the released players
The Awendo side released five players including former Gor Mahia prodigy Angelo Okumu, Collins Ojany, defender Vincent Ogutu and midfielder Clinton Omolo. The addition of the two players Nzoia duo makes the third arrival signings of the transfer window after recapture midfield kingpin Fredrick Onyango from Tusker FC.
Sony had a good finish to the 2015 season under the Head Coach Salim Babu where they were runners up in the KPL Top 8 Tournament and managed a quarterfinal berth in the GOtv Shield but finish tenth in the SportPesa Premier League.
