Kenyan Premier League side Sony Sugar FC have appointed former Tusker FC assistant coach Leonard Odipo as the club head coach Soka25east.com can confirm
The Former deputy to Francis Kimanzi at Tusker is tasked with the responsibility to steer the club in the 2016 season.
The tactician served as Tusker head coach towards the end of 2015 season after the dismissal of Francis Kimanzi will replace Salim Babu who was the caretaker coach.
Odipo parted ways with Tusker at the of the 2015 after a dismissal season with the Brewers.
Odipo will be assisted by Salim Babu who took over when the post fell vacant last year after zico dismissal.
Odipo a (CAF) License ‘A’ holder was selected from a list of 10 applicants, both local and international which included former Kakamega Homeboyz and Western Stima tactician Hesbon Nyabinge and Stanley Okumbi among other coaches who applied for the job.
The millers are in the process of recruiting new players ahead of the new season that kicks off in February.
