South Sudan leapfrog Tanzania in latest FIFA Rankings as Ivory Coast lead in Africa

The newest footballing nation in East Africa and the World South Sudan have made great strides in the latest FIFA World rankings released on 5^th November 2015.

In a move that will surprise pundits and fans South Sudan leap froggedTanzania’s Taifa Stars moving to 134^th in the ranking as Tanzania who are in South Africa for a 10 day training camp surprisingly dropping to 135^th Worldwide.

Uganda remains the highest ranked team in the Cecafa region at 68^th while Kenya are 125^th,Burundi 107^th,Rwanda 96^th ,Sudan 128^th while Ethiopia is ranked 114^th .

Meanwhile Ivory Coast are the highest ranked team in Africa followed by 2.Algeria 26 World 3.Ghana 30 World 4.Cape Verde 32 World 5.Senegal 39

6.Tunisia 41 World 7.Cameroon 51 World 8.Congo 52 World 9.Guinea 53 World 10.Congo DR 55 World
