Harambee Stars skipper and Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama is confident that the team can improve in their future matches if they learn from their mistakes.
While reacting to the recent Afcon outing in Congo where they held their hosts, the skipper insisted that the team will keep on improving.
Wanyama believes that the mistakes made are a perfect way of learning since the players have a greater chance of not repeating them again.
“We have a lesson to learn since we are still trying and learning from the mistakes we have done in the previous matches so when we implement that on the playing ground then we will have started improving,” he said.
The player who is now serving as the Red Cross Youth Ambassador insisted that Harambee Stars should be given time to prove its worth in the coming fixtures.
Stars will be expecting to win their home matches and get at least a point away to strengthen their qualification chances this time for the 2017 continental showpiece.
A Jackson Saleh handball gifted the hosts a penalty and an equalizer in the first leg cancelling out a Paul Were early goal that should have handed Stars a vital three away points.
