Dagoretti Former Players, JK Safari, Athletico Kangemi, Real Mathare and Maziwa FC have all made it to the SportPesa Super 8 Tournament finals after registering wins in their respective regional finals played on Sunday 9 October at different grounds.
Earlier on last week, ROG and Lebanon FC were the first teams to earn their spots in the finals after prevailing in Makadara and Kamukunji regions. ROG beat Buru 58 2-1 while Lebanon outclassed Shaurimoyo Blue Stars 2-0 at Camp Toyoyo in a midweek clash.
The Super 8 Finals draw will be conducted on Tuesday 11 October at Extreme Sports Limited offices where the eight regional champions will fight for four slots up for promotion to the SportPesa Super 8 Division One League.

DAGORETTI
Dagoretti Former Players 2-0 Makao FC
First half goals from Duke Ombagi and Ibrahim Kirangi were enough to hand Dagoretti Former Players a spot in the Super 8 Finals after stunning MakaoFC 2-0 in the Dagoretti region finals at City Stadium.
Ombagi gave the former players the lead ten minutes after kick-off for a first half lead that was doubled by Kirangi four minutes before the first half break.
LANG’ATA
JK Safaris 3-1 Rift Valley S A
JK Safaris will represent Lang’ata in the Super 8 Finals after being 3-1 winners over RVSA in a match played at City Stadium.
Benard Otieno had given the visitors a dream start with a 16th minute goal that was cancelled by Kepha Lawarence four minutes later. But Wycliffe Otieno made it 2-1 in favour of Safaris just moments before half time.
Dennis Kamau extinguished any hope for a comeback for RVSA when he scored the third and final goal for Safari in the 73 minute.
WESTLANDS
Athletico Kangemi 4-0 Real WYSA
In another entertaining match, Reagan Onyango netted twice to steer Athletico Kangemi to a 4-0 demolition of Real WYSA in the Westlands regional finals staged at Camp Toyoyo grounds.
Onyango opened the scoring four minutes in the game before Brian Manyada added the second soon after with a wonderful drive for a comfortable 2-0 first half lead. Kangemi’s third goal came courtesy of Ferdy Obala who acted on a keepers blunder to slot in from near post in the 26th minute.
EMBAKASI
Maziwa 3-1 Redwax Fc
10-man Maziwa FC rallied from behind to defeat Redwax FC 3-1 in post-match spot kicks following a 3-3 deadlock in regulation time of the Embakasi regional finals at Camp Toyoyo grounds.
Antony Njoroge was first on target in the 10th minute as Jimmy Wafula made it 2-0 almost instantly as the milkmen took command of the game in the opening exchanges.
Redwax pulled one back in the 31st minute through Stanley Waweru but his efforts were negated by Njoroge who scored his second goal of the match and third for Maziwa in the 36th minute.
However, John Kariuki replied with trhe second goal for REdwax who showed resilience and determination in the second half. Despite the slim 3-2 lead, Maziwa were reduced to 10-men in the 66th minute after Sam Odidi was shown straight red by the centre referee for a reckless tackle on Redwax defender.
Njoroge Mugo was the hero for Redwax the visitors after slotting the equalizer in the 76th minute forcing the tie into the penalty shoot outs where Maziwa won 3-1.
STAREHE
Real Mathare 5-2 Espana
A second half brace from Nicholas Juma inspired Real Mathare to a 5-2 hammering of Espana in the Starehe regional finals.
Espana started the match on a sound note and took the lead as early as the fourth minute through George Maigwa that lasted for two minutes when David Odhiambo equalized for Real Mathare. Epana went ahead again in the 17th minute through Serenwa Dominic but the hosts were in no mood to let off the opponents lightly as they equalized in the 25th minute through George Ohito.
After the breather, Mathare piled more pressure in search for more goals and their efforts paid off as Ishmail Njenga found the back of the net in 53rd for a 3-2 second half advantage. Juma was the hero for the home team after netting twice in 76th and 81st minutes respectively for his side to take the spoils.
KASARANI
BabaDogo Babes Vs WanaOpera FC
The match pitting Baba Dogo Babes Vs Wanaopera at Camp Toyoyo failed to conclude as chaotic scenes from crowd trouble showed its ugly side after a section of Wanaopera fans turned hostile by hurling missiles on the pitch forcing the tie to be called off in the 68th minute.
At the time of the abandonment, Baba Dogo Babes were leading 2-1. The Leagues and Competitions Committee will decide the outcome of the match upon receiving the match report.
