Shauri Moyo Blue Stars 1-0 Metro Sports

10-man Shauri Moyo Blue Stars produced the shock of the weekend beating favorites and title contenders Metro Sports 1-0 to hand them their dose of medicine at Drive Inn Grounds.

The loss was Metro’s first this season in 13 fixtures as they failed to topple Jericho All Stars from the apex of the table.

Rahim Malik was the hero with the lone gone in the 43rd minute handing the East Conference side the 7th win of season..

Metro drops to third on the table standings with 25 points with a game at hand,and three points behind leaders Jericho All Stars while Shauri are fourth with 25 points.

Baba Dogo United 1-1 Jericho All Stars

Baba Dogo United punctured Jericho All Stars’ fine run holding them to a 1-1 draw at Baba Dogo Grounds.

Eddie Kirui put the home side ahead in the 35th minute against the run of play but they couldn’t hold on to the lead till the final whistle as Jericho found the equalizer one minute to stoppage time through Erick Onyango.

The single point stretched the Makadara’s outfit’s lead at the top to 28 points, three points clear.

TUK 3-1 Kabete United

The university students continued with their fine run with a 3-1 obliteration of Kabete United at Camp Toyoyo.

TUK improves their points tally to 24 points at position 4 while Kabete drops to 8th with 17 points.

Jeconiah Uyoga opened the goal fest 16 minutes into the match with a cool finish for a 1-0 half time score. Lawrence Agina doubled the scores in the 61st minute before Kevin Okomo made it 3-0 at the 70th minute mark. Kabete pulled one back through Shikuri Patrick in 73rd minute but it was too late in the evening to have any effect on the final outcome.

Kayole Asubuhi 3-2 Kawangware United

In the second match at Toyoyo, Kayole Asubuhi proved too strong for Kawangware United beating them 3-2 in a five goal thriller.

Mercurial Francis Thairu netted the first goal of the enthralling match for Kawangware in the 40th minute; a lead which only lasted 5 minutes before John Malik restored order with a fine shot for 1-1 scoreline.

More goals came in the second half with Joel Mutua giving Kayole the lead in the 65th minute. Daniel Muturi then drew Kawangware level in the 76th minute but Samwel Imbaya had the last laugh grabbing the third goal for Kayole Asubuhi in the 89th minute to secure all the three points.

Kayole storms to second on the log with 28 points same as leaders Jericho who have a superior goal difference.

Ajax 1-0 Shamako Babes

Ajax FC pilled more misery on the whipping boys Shamako Babes with a 1-0 painful win at Nakeel Grounds.

Bedan Kigali scored the only goal of the match to condemn Shamako to the 10 loss which leaves them grounded at the bottom of the log with a paltry 4 points in 13 matches.

Ajax moves to 7th with 17 points same as Kabete United.

Diguna FC 2-0 Melta Kabiria

Diguna got the better of Melta handing them a 2-0 defeat in another fixture at Nakeel Grounds.

Anothony Koine and Vicent Wanyonyi scored for Diguna in the 15th and 82nd minutes respectively to seal the victory.

Diguna climbs to 6th on the table with twenty points from 12 matches.
