SATURDAY MATCHES

SHAMAKO BABES VS KAWANGWARE UNITED (3PM)

Relegation bound Shamako Babes continue to search for their second victory in the league. They will be at home against fellow West conference side Kawangware United on Saturday 2 July at Kabete ACK grounds.

The competition’s whipping boys are staring at relegation as they sit last on the 16-team league table standings with a paltry 5 points.

They face off with a restructured Kawangware who are three spots above with 19 points.

Kawangware will seek to further pile more misery to the minnows whom they punished 5-1 in the reverse fixture.

KIAMBIU YOUTH VS AJAX FC (3PM)

After settling for 1-1 deadlock in the first leg, Kiambiu Youth and Ajax Fc battle at Camp Toyoyo in a desperate bid to outdo each other.
Ajax are looking to steady their ship as they are ranked 7th on the chart with 28 points while the Youthful side are four points shy at 9th.

MELTAH KABIRIA VS KIAMAIKO CITY (3PM)

At BP grounds in Kawangware, home team Melta Kabiria aim to put behind their devastating 3-1 away defeat by MASA last weekend to gather the winning points against Kiamaiko City.

This however will not be a walk in the park for Kabiria as the citizens are keen to leapfrog them on the table standings where they are trailing the Kawangware based outfit by a single point.

Melta have 21 points so far and sit 11th while Kiamaiko are following closely at 12th.

BABA DOGO UNITED VS METRO SPORTS

Elsewhere, Baba Dogo United welcomes fourth-placed Metro Sports in an East Vs West conference derby at Baba Dogo grounds from 3pm.

Metro Sports edged Baba Dogo 2-1 in the first leg and the latter are looking to tighten the screws on their defense not to go down in similar fashion in the second leg.

Metro are at a touching distance of the top spot as they are 8 points adrift of leaders Jericho All Stars while Baba Dogo are struggling to find their footing in the league at 14th with 17 points.

SUPER SUNDAY

TUK VS JERICHO ALL STARS (3PM)

In one of the three matches on the cards at City Stadium, league commanding boys Jericho All Stars seek to extend their stay at the apex of the table standings. The All Stars are looking for a win against West conference heavyweights TUK in a match expected to be a mouth-watering clash.

But to take all the three points, the table toppers face a herculean task against an improved TUK whom they narrowly beat 3-2 at Camp Toyoyo in the corresponding encounter.

All Stars who are two points clear of second placed Kayole Asubuhi have racked up 39 points while the university students are five points shy occupying the third spot.

MASA VS KABETE UNITED (1 PM)

At the same venue, sixth-placed MASA will be gunning for their fourth consecutive win when they face visiting Kabete United in a lunch time kick-off.

The Makongeni based team has accumulated 28 points so far while Kabete set the benchmark of the top 10 with 21 points.

The visiting West conference team hit MASA 2-1 when the two sides collided in the first leg and the hosts will be up in arms to secure revenge.

KAYOLE ASUBUHI VS DIGUNA FC (11AM)

In the opening match of the day, second placed Kayole Asubuhi aim to bridge the gap between them and league leaders when they square it out with Diguna FC.

The East conference team is sitting pretty with 37 points and is currently on fine form and a win will be a big boost for them.

However, Diguna who are ranked 8th with 28 points took the spoils in the opening round with a 2-1 home win and will hope to replicate such a performance.
