Sixteen times Uganda premier league champions Sports Club Villa yesterday unveiled the 2016/17 season squad at Jenvine Hotel Wakaliga, Kampala.

At a function attended by club President Engineer Ben Misagga and other club officials, eleven new players were presented to media adding to nineteen old players.

The New Players;

Bernard Muwanga, Ayub Kisalita, Joseph Nsubuga, Yasin Mugabi, Micheal Owinya, Edward Kawooya, Francis Mayigga, Swalidad Muhammad, Vitalis Tabu, Ali Magomu Okitto, Alex Ssemuyaba.

The Old Boys;

Ashadu Bugembe, Sam Kirya, Patrick Mbowa, Henry Katongole, Yesseri Waibi, Lwanga Taddeo, Ambrose Kirya, Denis Kamanzi, Robert Anchema, Kasule Abdul-Karim, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Ramathan Katerega, Umaru Kasumba, Martin Kiiza, John Adriiko, Yubu Bogere, Dudu Ramathan, Mike Serumagga, Ndera Mike.

Villa represented Uganda last season in the CAF Confederations Cup and finished fourth with 50 points in the AUPL.
