St.George promising defender Salhadin Bargecho could be on his way to Russia to play for a yet to be named Moldovan club after they showed interest in the astute defender Soka25east.com can reveal.
Bargecho who was part of the famous Walia squad that missed the World cup 2014 by a whisker losing to Nigeria in the play offs has been in the radar of top clubs since playing in the Chan in South Africa in January.
Sources intimated to Soka25east.com that Getaneh Kebede’s and Fikiru Tefera’s agent is the one who linked Sala who could first sign a one year contract.
Sala is set to begin talks next week in what could see him as one of the highest paid footballers from Ethiopia .Clubs in South Africa like Bidvest Wits where Getaneh played have also showed interest in the player who is considered as the future of Walia Ibex defence.
Bargecho was in the Ethiopian team that participated in Cecafa and later travelled with Walia to South Africa for the Chan tournament where they were knocked out in the first round.
