Last year’s COPA COCA COLA Schools championship finalists St.Marys Kitende SS defeated Buddo SS 1-0 on Sunday evening to lift the Wakiso district schools cup.

SC. Vipers midfield dynamo Frank “Zaga” Tumwesigye scored the only goal of the match in the first half to ensure Kitende successfully defends the district championship.

Now after the district level,Buddo SS,Victoria High School, St.Marys Kitende and St.Juliana will represent Wakiso district in this year’s Copa Coca Cola that will be held in Masaka district.

Kampala champions Kibuli SS who won rivals Uganda Martyrs,Rubaga 1-0 in the district finals are the defending champions of the Copa Coca Cola having defeated Kitende last year on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Soroti district.
