The Sudan Football Association is set to appoint Former Ghanian and current Al Khartoum SC Head Coach Kwesi James Appiah as the head coach.
Current coach Abdallah Mazda resigned in a huff after Sudan fell to 2017 hosts Gabon by a 4-0 humiliation.
Appiah who onced became the first African to take Black Stars to the 2014 World Cup has been with Sudanese outfit Al Khartoum SC since he mutually terminated his contract with the Ghanian National team
He also coached the Ghana U23 team in 2011 during which he won with them the All African Games
The 55year old born in Kumasi played for Ghana black stars from 1987-1992 and Asante Kotoko from 1983-1993.
