The East and Central African nation, Sudan has survived an International ban in football by FIFA.

Sources close to Soka25east.com have indicated that, the wrangle between the incumbert Mutassim Gaafar and the self proclaimed President of the Sudanese Football Association General Abdelrahman Al Katim has been settled.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, who backed General Al Katim, has also allowed the Mutassim led executive to stay in office until the FIFA proposed date of the Presidential polls, so as to peeserve the country from a ban.

In a letter signed by FIFA General Secretary Fatima Samoura, the fiasco in Sudan was supposed to be settled until today. With the white smoke finally emeging, it means their affliation to FIFA has been preserved.
