Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the services of Highlands Park star striker Peter Shalulile and midfielder Mothobi Mvala on 5 year deals.
The Brazilians, already boasting an impressive strike force, have added Shalulile who shared the PSL’s Golden Boot this season with Gabadinho Mhango.
“I joined Sundowns because I think it’s one of the best clubs in Africa and I want to win trophies. It’s a platform for me to play in Africa with the CAF Champions League.“
Shalulile has had an impressive season for the Lions of the North, having scored 16 goals in the PSL this season, with three in the Nedbank Cup. Having spent 5 years at Highlands Park after joining from Namibian club Tura Magic FC. The Namibian international made 85 appearances scoring 29 goals and collecting eight assists during his time in Tembisa.
Mothobi Mvala is set to join a star-studded championship-winning side consisting of several Bafana Bafana and African internationals, with Pitso Mosimane adding some bite in the heart of the Brazilian’s midfield.

The hard-tackling midfielder is a notorious enforcer with the reputation to back himself. Still only 26, the midfielder will look to build on his 34 appearances for his former club during the 19/20 season in which he racked up some serious defensive miles.
