Supersport through to Pre Group Stage, Al Ahly knocked out
Supersport United have qualified to the pre group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 2-1 victory against Petro de Luanda of Angola in the second leg. The first leg ended 0-0 in Angola .
Another shocking result of the other game played on Friday is the elimination of the Sudanese giants in Al Ahly who have been eliminated by the Republic of Congo outfit CS La Mancha.
CS La Mancha won the first leg 3-0 and Al Ahly could only manage a 2-1 victory in the second leg. The Congo outfit won 4-2 on aggregate .
The games continue on Saturday and Sunday with intriguing games on show.
Most of the results from the first leg gives an indication that we are in for interesting encounters in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup as teams fight to get slots in the pre group stage .
