Another big clash in the talk of the town has been overshadowed by the derby.
On Sunday afternoon,money bags Azam FC will be at their home,The Chamazi Sports Complex ready to battle it out with visiting Mbeya City FC.
Close to 1000 travelling Mbeya City fans will assemlble at the Apple line hotel in Soweto,Mbeya on Saturday to begin a 681 kilometre journey to the commercial capital Dar es Salaam
According to the Secretary General of the United Branches of Mbeya City Mr. Thimoth Mwalongo also known as Mkandalasi,all the members of the 14 branches will converge at the said hotel for the historic journey.
Speaking to Soka25east.com,the big fan said that they have to support their team as they have been doing.
‘Last two seasons we broke a record not yet fullfilled by any team when we filled the chamazi complex with our travelling fans and we will do the same.We have already hired close to seven buses christened Coaster for the trip.
Mbeya City have so far lost two matches at home and drawn one with the latest being a derby loss to Tanzania Prisons last week while Azam has won all it’s three matches.
