Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Tanzania as the hosting nation for the junior continental tournament (CAF U17) slated for 2019.
President of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Jamal Malinzi confirmed the good news to the East Africans at a press conference in Dar Es Salaam today, Thursday 20.
Jamal said TFF in conjunction with Tanzania Government had sent a bid to CAF for the hosting rights and they responded positively.
He is calling on all stake holders from all sectors to come on board, and work with TFF ensure a successful tournament.
