Allan Wanga played no role in Azam FC’s 2-0 win over Kagera Sugar in a Tanzania Premier League match played on Sunday 27 at Azam Complex.
The Kenyan international was unused substitution in the win that propelled the Ice Cream makers to within a point reach of champions and league leaders Yanga SC with a game at hand.
Wanga who signed for Azam mid this year from Sudan giants El Merreikh has struggled to command a regular role in the team.
Kipre Tche Tche scored first in the 10th minute before Shamori Kapombe sealed the three points with the second goal in the 78th minute.
