Yanga’s Zimbabwean striker, Donald Ngoma has alluded to the fact that he and his team mates are not purturbed by their rivals Simba as they prepare to clash on Saturday in one of the fiercest derbies in East Africa.
Speaking to Soka25east.com Ngoma who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday and has scored 3 goals this season intimated that they would he focused on the game like any other in the league as he vowed to score on Saturday.
“I belive our game against Simba will be like any other since we have been preparing well and it will be the right time to continue with my goal scoring form for my club.Simba are a good side but we want to show them that 2015/2016 will be our season and we can only do that by ensuring we beat them in the big derby”
On his thoughts about the derby that grips the country Ngoma intimated “I am definitely delighted to be part of the team that will play the match which has alot of impact in Tanzania.The dream of any player is to play in such big derbies and above all to perform at the highest stage”Ngoma told Soka25east.com
“I am happy my form has been brilliant and getting goals for a striker is very important though i must acknowledge Tanzania league is very tough meaning you have to work extra hard that is why Simba defenders will have a hard day on Saturday as we will remain relentless in the 90 minutes of the game as we seek victory against our rivals”he added
Donald Ngoma was signed from Zimbabwean side FC Platinum who were impressed by him when the featured for them in a Caf Confederations cup match that saw the Tanzanians eliminate the Zimbabweans.
