Coastal Union are set to beat Mbeya City FC and Kagera Sugar for the services of Abasalim Chidiebele of Stand United.
Chidiebele’s contract with the Shinyanga based Stand United is set to expire this month.
Coastal Unions head of Signings Salim Bawaziri said he doesn’t want to get involved in the signing debate until a new set of officials come on board after the July 5th elections.
“The progress of signings are on smoothly, you know signing involves a lot of things as there is sitting down with the player and discussing the contract. We want to wait for the leaders to be elected to start off officially” Salim added.
He further revealed that the Tanga based side are in talks with Chidiebele(Absalim) and that they are at advanced stage and when the deal is done, they will announce.
Apart from Coastal Union, money bags Mbeya City and Kagera Sugar are also interrsted in the Nigerian who scored 11 goals for Stand United last season.
Chidiebele said he is in contact with the three clubs but has not signed with any.
