By Fredrick Nadulli,
Simba SC are interested in signing Gor Mahia midfielder Antony ‘Teddy’ Akumu,soka25East.com has learnt.
The Tanzania mainland giants, coached by former Gor tactician Zravko Logarusic are keen admirers of the lanky midfielder who also plays for the national team Harambee Stars.
What Logarusic wants Logarusic gets.Simba is also home to former Gor central defender Donald Mosoti, who joined the Dar es Salaam outfit immediately after Logarusic arrived from the Kenya champions.
If the deal goes through,Akumu will join a band of Kenya players among them Jerry Santos,Humphrey Mieno and Jockins Atudo who have all played for Tanzania clubs, the latter two having since returned home.
