In a bid to boost Taifa Stars preparations and ensure smooth running of activities of the senior national team ahead of international assignments, Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president Jamal Malinzi has unveiled a seven man committee to take charge of the team.
Stars are still active in AFCON 2017, 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup qualifiers among other up coming tournaments like CECAFA Senior Challenge due next month in Ethiopia.
The mandate of the committee includes;
1. To enhance service delivery to players
2. Publicity and marketing
3. Players education
4. Preparations and strategy on winning
Members of committee comprises;
Farough Baghouzah – Chairman
Teddy Mapunda – Secretary
Juma Pinto – Member
Michael Wambura – Member
Iman Madega – Member
Salum Abdallah – Member
Isaac Chanji – Member
The committee has also been mandated to bring other stakeholders who are willing to join hands for the good of Tanzania football on board.
