As the bus sets off for Nakonde….
Nakonde football Club executive Committee has thanked the republican president His excellence Edgar Chagwa Lungu for helping them with the bus as they prepare for the Super league season of 2017. Real Nakonde qualified to the Super League after the 2016 season and one big challenge that they envisioned facing was transport especially for their away games that go as far as Choma to play Green Eagles in Southern Province and Lumwana in North Western Provonce.
In his letter of gratitude to the President and made available to Soka25east, Mr. Simon Mwanza the chairman of the Club said the bus has eliminated the biggest challenge the club was to face.
“it is something the club had no capacity at any extent to achieve on it’s own especially with the current grim financial situation of the club.” read some parts of the appreciation letter.
Mr Simon Mwanza further acknowledges that the bus on it’s own will lift the morale of all people attached to the club and believe that the kind gesture will have a positive effect onbthe team’s performance through out the season.
Real Nakonde opens up the season at home to Buildcon and you can imagine the support that the local people will give to their local team. Buildcon who also qualified though zone four have by far gone accords the African continent getting players for this season and their first test is away to Real Nakonde.
