By Belindah Maska,
It will be all claws out tomorrow(Sunday) at the Machakos Stadium as the cats take on each other in what is considered a battle for animal rights!
Sofapaka coming from the bitterness of their 1 – 0 loss to Chemelil Sugar, will be looking to draw claws at their AFC Leopards who also bite the dust against Muhoroni Youth in a midweek clash in a nail biting match that is set to have a lot of emotions.
The Leopards got their claws downsized by a resilient Muhoroni Youth team in the mid week clashes and will want to bounce back with a win as pressure mounts on coach James Nandwa the loss coming immediately after they were knocked out by a resilient Supersport United in the Caf Confederation cup.
Both teams will be playing for both pride and supremacy, though statistically AFC Leopards have the upper hand, being 3 – 1 up against Kalekwa’s boys from their previous encounter.
Meanwhile Gor Mahia will also have a tricky affair as they face Western Stima who are buoyed with confidence since the arrival of coach Henry Omino. After a disastrous outing that saw the mighty Kogalo lose 5-0 away in Tunis against Esperance of Tunisia to finish with a 8-2 aggregate the green army will be looking to make amends in the local league with coach Bobby Williamson working to get back the confidence by beating Western Stima and restoring the confidence of the fans.
