Mali national football coach Alain Giresse has released the detailed training programme for the natiomal team ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier aganist Panthers of Gabon on the 12th November 2016 at Stade Madibo Keita in Bamako,Mali.

In his ambitious restrictive to the media proggramme, only two training sessions will open to the media with limited access to the players.

“The training will be observed from the stands. That way we will have good time with players because the workouts are designed to work on specific aspects. This requires a lot of tranquility and serenity for players to be able to establish what we want to develop, ” said Alain Giresse to justify that restriction.

The Frenchman has also expressed his dissapointed with unavailability of some of his players,

“As was the case during the match Ivory Coast, this is disturbing, and unsettling. It requires (me) to make decisions that were not foreseen.

“This is something that we had to engage all of a sudden  to get to compensate for these absences. When we released our list, we wanted to work with all his players. Unfortunately this is not the case, “he lamented.

Three of Mali first team players, Abdoulaye Diaby and Bakary Sako and his midfield captain Yacouba Sylla are out with injuries and will not be available for the match.

To overcome these absences, Giresse has summoned two young players IvesBissouma and Souleymane Diarra as replacements.
