Liberian defender Dirk Glay may not feature in any other match for K’Ogalo this season after the club failed to secure a work permit for the player
Liberian defender who reported to have failed in the bid to secure a work permit to enable him play for the run away leaders Gor mahia in the remaining matches.
The club has opted not to renew the player’s work permit after coach Frank Nuttall indicated ‘he has no need for the Liberian anymore’.
Glay joined Gor Mahia from Thika United at the beginning of this season but has found him falling in the peaking order owing to injuries and the soild partnership of Club captain Musa Mohammed and Harun Shakava at the back .
On Wednesday, Gor Mahia Deputy Secretary Genaral Ronald Ngala
said the player is surplus to requirements at the club.
However, a source in the team said separately that the absence of Glay is a big miss for the team. “We have many injuries in the team and only a few players.
