The skipper of the Zambia Super league side Mufulira Wanderers, Joseph Sitali was robbed at his house in the town of Kitwe.

Thieves broke into Sitali’s house and got away with almost everything, including his football boots last week.

The sad news was confirmed to soka25east.com by Mufulira Wanderers team manager, Patrick Mwanza.

“Last week thieves broke into his house and got away with almost all his households including his football boots in Chimwemwe township,” said Patrick Mwanza.

The team manager, Mwanza has indicated that, the Club Execo led by Mike Milupi has been supportive to the former Nkana midfielder.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mike Milupi led Mufulira Wanderers executive and the club management for the support they have rendered to the player during his difficult moment,” he said.

The help was given in monetary form and delivered by Mwanza to the player. Upon receiving the money, Sitali was full of gratitude while he bemoaned the thievery of his house.

“These people they don’t know what they have done in my family,” he said.

He has been excused in Mufulira Wanderers which is currently on their way to Lusaka for the Super clash of strugglers with City of Lusaka.
