Thika United have this evening beaten Ushuru FC 2-1 in the first leg of the KPL promotion/relegation play off at the Thika Sub County Stadium
Nigerian Onwudi Chibueze’s goal in the 85th minute proved vital with the host needing only a draw to remain in the top flight .
Said Tsuma scored first for the hosts before Mohammed Hasaan restored parity for the tax collectors
The return leg will be played on Sunday 24th December at the Narok County stadium
The aggregate winner will complete the 18 team league in the KPL
The match was delayed after Thika United took the case to the Sports Tribunal which threw out the case
