The federation of Togolese football has temporarily suspended Gnikiti FC and Maranatha from all football related activities in the country pending probe into alleged match fixing involving them.

Gnikiti beat Maranatha 11-0 on the last day of the Togolese Division 1 league Sunday to survive relegation on goal difference ahead of Gomido, with whom they shared equal points.

The Bassar based side, which had a -1 goal difference heading into the match against Maranatha needed to score at least 7 goals without conceding to cancel out Gomido’s +6 goal difference.

Both sides finished with thirty four points after Gomido beat Dyto 2-0.
