Togo’s local-based national team coach Jean-Paul Abalo has named a 27-man squad that are set to begin training this week.

The squad include players from club in first division,second division and training centres.This will be the third time that the team will be re-grouping as they prepapre to play three friendlies aganist Ghana,Burkina Faso and Coted’Ivore.

The matches will serve as preparation for the local Hawks’ 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Benin in July.

Togo will host the Benin for the first leg of the playoff tie on July 15 in Lome, before facing them a week later in the return game in Benin. The aggregate winners will qualify for the finals in Kenya.

Training sessions will take place at Kegue Stadium.
