Champions Yanga SC has strengthened their defense ahead of Tanzania league kick-off in September by signing experienced Vincent Bossou.
The details of the deal, believed to be lucrative remains top club secret.
Bossou impressed Yanga head Coach Hans Van Der Pluijm for the shot stint he has been training with the team in Mbeya City.
The team is getting ready for a tough tie against rivals Azam FC in league’s curtain raiser, Community Shield, on Saturday, August 22 at the National Stadium.
The player who started his senior career with Maranatha FC of Togo has also played for Tunisia’s Etoile Sportive du Sahel. He made Togo’s AFCON 2010 squad but withdrew after the National team attack.
