Zesco United Midfieder Mwape “Tozizi” Mwelwa has warned against Underating their Malian Opposition in the Caf Champions League ahead of a second leg encounter.Mwape was on the score sheet in Mali as he scored the equaliser .
Mwape told the Club website that Stade Malien is not a team to under rate and that many good and big teams have fallen at their hands.He said the 3-1 first leg win is just the first half and the game is still very much open and Zesco United have to concentrate for the entire 90 Minutes.
The Midfied genius says the victory
over Stade Malien last Saturday was nothing but the first half of the second round of the CAF Champions league second round fixtures.
“Malien are a strong side and the game we payed was so competitive,we took our chances and converted them whereas they did not,they played as much as we did and we will not underrate them in any way”.
” Big teams have gone to Malien and they have lost but our hard work and determination was enough to break their unbeaten home record by that margin”.
Mwape popularly known as Tozizi who scored the
equalizer in the match said the return leg scheduled for Tuesday April,19 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Zesco beat Stade Malien 3-1 through Mwapes goal and
Idris scoring a brace.
The win increased the chances of Zescos chances of
qualifying to the group stage of the competition.
