Tanzania Internationals are not being left behind in the current transfer moves ahead of the January transfer window with TP Mazembe striker Thomas Ulimwengu heavily linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas .
Soka25east.com has learnt that the club has showed so much interest in the player who helped TP Mazembe to be crowned 2015 CAF Champions League champions as the move barely comes a week after his compatriot Mbwana Samatta signed a three year deal with Belgian side Genk.
The move has drastically gained momentum with the player’s fine form with Besiktas setting the ball rolling with talks with TP Mazembe for the acquisition of the dependable striker who has been in peak form both for club and country.
Besiktas will have to convince TP Mazembe to release the player who has a valid contract that runs until August 2016 but has a buy out clause that is negotiable by the interested party.
Soka25east.com has realiably learnt that only TP Mazembe flamboyant President Moise Katumbi stands between a move and retention of the player in the Lubumbashi based club with a pre-contract set to be signed between January and February only if the club accepts the offer to release the player.
