Mazembe concluded a two-week intensive training camp in Rabat, Morocco with a 2-1 loss to local side Renaissance Sportive Berkane at Maamoura Football Center Saturday.
Essaydi Youssef and El Kaabi scored for the Botola side with Solomon Asante reducing the deficit for the Ravens in the dying minutes of the match.
Mazembe played two other friendlies winning once and drawing another.
The five times African champions have been sharpening for the two legged CAF Confederations Cup finals against Supersport of South Africa.
They will host the first leg at Stade Mazembe, Lubumbashi on 17th November with the return leg on 24th of the same month in Pretoria.
Mazembe are the defending champions of the second rate African club championship having bagged it for the first time in 2016.
Supersport on the other hand will be chasing for a maiden glory in Africa.
Meanwhile, Mazembe’s Mali midfielder Salif Coulibaly successfully underwent knee surgery in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He is expected in Lubumbashi on the 13th of this month but doctors say he can only return to action at the end of December.
