Former champions RS Berkane and TP Mazembe will be targeting away wins in their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final ties on Sunday.
Having finished at the top of Group C, Mazembe are set to square off with Egyptian big spenders, Pyramids at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.
Mazembe won this tournament in 2016 and 2017, and the DR Congolese giants are hoping to go all the way and clinch their third Confederation Cup trophy this season.
There will be a North African Derby clash between Egyptian side Al Masry and RS Berkane of Morocco at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
Berkane, who finished at the top of Group D, were the runners-up in the Confederation Cup in 2019, before they clinched the trophy in 2020.
While Orlando Pirates will travel to Tanzania’s National Stadium in Dar es Salaam where they are scheduled to battle it out with Simba SC.
The South African giants eased into the knockout phase after finishing at the top of Group B and they are looking to win the Confederation Cup for the first time.
Lastly, Libyan clubs Al Ittihad and Al Ahli Tripoli will meet at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi as they renew their rivalry in Africa’s secondary club tournament.
This means one Libyan club will take part in this season’s semi-finals with Al Ittihad having reached the last four in 2010.
