Adama City FC sensational winger Tekele Almeayhu lost an eye in a tragic night out incident in the City of Adama.
Tekele was hit on the eye with a bottle in a night club fight throwing his bright footballing career into limbo.
He was operated on and the damaged eye removed all together. On Tuesday, doctors postponed a decision on a possible transplant for a week until detailed tests on his nerves are carried out.
Touted as a future Walia Ibex material, the prodigy burst into the limelight in the 2014/15 Ethiopian premier League season with virtuoso performances for Adama which left fans demanding national duty for him.
