Latest transfer rumours in Zambia indicate that newly crowned Zambian Champions Zanaco are eyeing Ivorian Striker Oussou Konan.
Konan is currently playing for Finnish side HJK Helsinki in the Veikkausliiga.
According to renowned Zambian Football Pundit, Puncherello Chama, Zanaco are looking to bolster their attack in readiness for Champions League football
“Close sources indicate that Former Al Ahly striker Oussou Konan is linked with a move to ZSL 2016 Champions Zanaco FC. The 27 year old Ivorian striker played for Al Ahly in 2012 and also played for Esperance between 2008 and 2010,” Chama wrote on his Facebook page.
Zanaco are not letting their title win get to them and are already planning for life in Africa’s top club competition.
The Bankers are in addition looking at Kano Pillars defender Anthony Abawula who is already in Zambia to push for a move to the Zambian Champions.
Also linked to the club is Kabwe Warriors forward Idriss Mbombo who had a successful triumph with Zesco United in the 2016 Barclays Cup final.
The Congolese born striker scored the only goal against Zanaco and it is believed that Mbombo could make a switch to Sunset Stadium.
