Khalid Aucho, formerly of Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League and currently at Scottish heavyweights Aberdeen FC for trials came on as a second half substitute for the “Dons” in a warm-up against Arbroath FC at Gayfield on Saturday.

Aberdeen thumped the second tier league side 4-1 in the build-up as the Derek McInnes’ charges continued to sharpen ahead of the new 2016/17 season.

Aucho who landed in Scotland on Friday did not have much time to rest and acclimatise and was thrown into the deep end of action, caming on for Harvie five minutes into the second half.

The gifted Ugandan international midfield general, known for his timely interceptions, killer passes and eye for goal will continue with his trials and if impressive, he will complete the dream move.
